I will always stand up for Saskatchewan’s interest. And I will continue to do so against the federal Liberals.
However, a relationship can’t be built on conflict. We must build and manage our relationship with the federal government, with a focus on building a partnership. We need partnerships in order to move priority files forward and to benefit from federal funding opportunities.
While we strongly disagree on things like the carbon tax, National Energy Board regulations and recent tax changes, we must work together on priorities such as international trade and shared jurisdiction areas such as agriculture and healthcare.
